Our Friend Andrew

This is Cameron J Laing’s directorial debut.
Shot during the midst of the Danish lockdown April 2020, the film portrays the uplifting story of an isolated individual "Andrew". Content with life, he goes about his day-to-day sharing memories and adventures as well as creating new ones with the things he sees from his window.

The film features co-writer Piper S. McKenzie in the lead role, with performances from Michael Worthman, Fie Dal, Kevin Kiernan-Molloy and introducing Diana Palade.

The film will next screen on 17th - 20 May in Cymru/Wales, UK. As part of BAFTA Cymru qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival 2021.

More upcoming screening dates will be announced in May 2021.

Isolated, Andrew's fantastical day-to-day, poetically collides with the world outside his window, sparking memories and taking him on new adventures.

“Our secrets are personal, our precious hiding places. We all have them, don’t we? ”

— Andrew (Our Friend Andrew)
